Three hand washes: what each includes and how to choose
We offer three exterior washes, and all of them are done by hand. Basic wash is a hand wash that also covers the door frames and the rubber mats. Premium wash adds a solvent wash for the paint, and Seasonal wash includes a quick wax on top of the solvent wash. Interior cleaning and waxing are separate services that you can book for the same visit.

All three washes follow the same steps. First the car is washed with shampoo and rinsed with a pressure washer, so that sand and loose dirt come off before the surface is touched. Then the whole car is washed with a sponge and shampoo, rinsed again with the pressure washer and dried with a microfibre cloth. The tyres are washed in every wash.
When the dirt is ordinary dust and mud
Basic wash suits a car that is washed regularly and whose dirt is fresh. The wash is not limited to the outside: the door frames are washed too, so dirt from the sills no longer ends up on your trouser legs. The rubber mats are washed as well, which gets rid of the sand that would otherwise find its way back into the footwells.
When the car still looks grey after a wash
Traffic leaves a greasy film on the paint that water and shampoo do not fully remove. You notice it as a grey tint that stays on the surface even when the loose dirt has gone. Premium wash includes a solvent wash for the paint, which removes this film. It is a good choice if it has been a while since the last wash or the car has spent a lot of time in traffic. When you want the surface to stay cleaner
Seasonal wash includes a quick wax on top of the solvent wash. Water beads on a waxed surface, and mud and dust come off more easily at the next wash. The wash is the same all year round, but its name changes with the season: in winter it is the Winter wash and in summer the Summer wash.
A quick wax is a lighter treatment than a separate waxing: it lasts about 3–4 washes, usually 1–3 months. If you want longer-lasting protection, you will find the options and prices in our article on what waxing costs.
What a wash does not include
An exterior wash does not include vacuuming the interior. If you want the inside done as well, add interior cleaning to your booking:
- Light interior cleaning (€39–52): vacuuming the floor, seats and mats, and wiping the dashboard.
- Full interior cleaning (€64–77): full vacuuming, wiping of surfaces, the windows on the inside and the boot.
- Total interior cleaning (€189–229): full interior cleaning plus wet cleaning of the seats, with a separate method for leather seats.
Light interior cleaning does not include the boot or cleaning the windows. If the glass or the boot needs cleaning, choose Full interior cleaning.
An underbody wash and the removal of stubborn tree sap or insects are not included in the washes, but you can ask for them as extra work. An underbody wash costs €11 extra. Mention the extra work in your booking message or when you arrive.
How to choose
- You wash your car regularly and the dirt is fresh: Basic wash.
- It has been a while since the last wash, or the paint looks grey: Premium wash.
- You want the next wash to be easier and water to bead on the surface: Seasonal wash.

Practical details
We are on level P1 of the Lauttis shopping centre, and we have three wash bays. Book online or call 010 508 9300. You pay on site, and as a customer you can park free for two hours: ask at the counter to have your parking validated. You can stay and wait while your car is washed, as we have a table and chairs.
