What we collect

• Name, email and phone number
• Your car's registration number and details you give us
• Bookings, services and prices
• The message you write with a booking
• Tyre hotel tyres, their condition and photos
• Emails we send you
• Your name, contact details and message sent with the contact form

Name, email and phone number are needed to book: without them we cannot confirm the time. Everything else is optional.

We do not collect personal identity codes or payment card details.

Booking history from our previous booking system (varaapalvelu.fi) has been moved to this system so that your customer history continues.

Your account

You can sign in to your own account with your email address. There is no password: we send a sign-in link and code to your email, and they are not stored anywhere. In your account you see your bookings, your visits (including from our previous booking system), your cars and your tyre hotel tyres, and you can change your details and download your data.

When you sign in, bookings made with the same email address and visits from the previous system are linked to your account. Nothing else is linked.

You can delete your account yourself. Your sign-in is then deleted, but bookings are kept for accounting. If you also want your personal data deleted, contact us.

Why

We do not profile customers. The only automated decision is a temporary block on online booking if you repeatedly miss appointments without letting us know (see the booking terms). You can still book by phone, and you can ask us to review the block.

Who processes the data

Our staff. The database is hosted by Supabase (Stockholm) and the server by Hetzner (Helsinki), so the data is stored in the EU.

Emails are sent by Resend, a US company that processes data mainly in the United States and sees your email address and the message content. The transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

Messages you send to our email addresses (e.g. info@premiumautopesu.fi) and messages from the contact form are stored in Google Workspace. The service is provided by Google Ireland Limited, and Google may also process data outside the EU, such as in the United States. The transfer is based on the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

The map on the contact page is loaded from Google Maps only when you tap Show map. Google then sees your IP address and may set its own cookies. Without the tap, no connection is made to Google.

How long

• Contact details for as long as you are a customer or until you ask us to delete them
• Bookings and amounts for the period required by accounting law
• Tyre hotel data and photos until the tyres have been handed back
• Contact form messages for 12 months
• Server logs for 14 days, with the end of the IP address removed
• A block on online booking is temporary and ends automatically
• Visitor statistics for 25 months; they contain no IP address and no identifier that could link you to your visits
• Your account until you delete it; an unused sign-in request is deleted within a day

Cookies

The site stores your language choice in a cookie so the site opens in the same language. Signing in to your account and staff sign-in use a necessary cookie. There are no tracking or advertising cookies.

Visitor statistics

On our own server we count how many people visit, which pages are viewed, where visitors come from (e.g. Google) and what is tapped (booking, call, directions). The statistics use no cookies, store nothing on your device and are not shared with anyone.

Your IP address is not stored. Visits on the same day are linked by an identifier calculated from your IP address, browser details and a random value that changes daily; the random value is deleted when the day ends, after which the identifier can no longer be linked to you or to other days.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive your data in a portable format and refuse marketing. You can complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
